For four decades, Rapid City’s punk scene has been built on independence, creativity, friendship, and community. The Rapid City Punk Rock Family Reunion celebrates 40 years of local punk rock with three days of live music, reunions, memories, and new connections.
Hosted at 707 Sports Bar & Nightlife in Baken Park, the event brings together bands from multiple eras of the Rapid City scene alongside current artists carrying the torch forward. Whether you were there from the beginning or are discovering the scene for the first time, this weekend is a celebration of the music and people who have kept punk rock alive in the Black Hills for 40 years.
